Core French

R.H. Murray has an excellent French as a second language program for students in grades 4-8. Instruction is provided 30 minutes daily and activities range from listening activities to written communication exercises. Mme Suzanne  has provided many years of excellent learning opportunities for our students.

Ojibwe Language

Students in grades 1-8 are invited to participate in an  Ojibwe langauge program. We currently have 18 students registered for classes that are offered daily for a 30 minute period in the afternoon. This unique program began in September 2007 and is an optional  subject for those that enroll. There are two classes at this time with one having students in grades 1-4 and another for students in grades 5-8. Mrs. Young is our Ojibwe language teacher and brings many years of experience about First Nation language and culture to the classroom.
